Warner Home Entertainment has announced that they are planning to bring the Tom Cruise breakout hit '
Risky Business' to Blu-ray on September 16th, day-and-date with the DVD re-release. No word on whether or not Warner will elect to make this one of their "coffee book" Blu-ray releases with accompanying hardcover book. Video will be presented as 1080p VC-1 and be accompanied by a Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.
Extras include a new making of featurette, an alternate ending, and commentary with Tom Cruise, director Paul Brickman and producer Jon Avnet. More extras are expected to be announced as the title's release date gets closer.
Warner has also revealed that the upcoming BBC release of '
Wild China' has been delayed until August 5th. No other specs have changed.
