Texas-based distributors Well Go USA have revealed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray veteran Hong Kong director Tsui Hark's latest film Young Detective Dee: Rise of The Sea Dragon (2013), a 3D prequel to the blockbuster Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame (2010). The preliminary release date set by the distributors is February 11th.
The action-packed and captivating tale of Dee Renjie's beginnings in the Imperial police force. His very first case, investigating reports of a sea monster terrorizing the town, reveals a sinister conspiracy of treachery and betrayal, leading to the highest reaches of the Imperial family.
