Olive Films Expands, Launches New Division

Olive Films announced today that it has created Martini Entertainment, a brand new division which will produce, acquire, and distribute U.S. independent films.

Former MGM Home Entertainment and Starz/Anchor Bay Entertainment executive Eric Wilkinson has been appointed as EVP of Production, Development, and Acquisition. Prior to joining Olive Films, Wilkinson worked at Kino Lorber, where he launched the Horizon Movies label.

Following the official announcement, Olive Films president Farhad Arshad said: "His (Wilkinson's) passion for film and knowledge of the business will be a true asset to the Martini Entertainment label. This next year will be an exciting time for all of us at Olive as we continue to expand."
