Warner Brothers has officially announced that it will add two titles to its Blu-ray catalog in March: Ben Younger's Boiler Room (2000), starring Giovanni Ribisi, Vin Diesel, Nia Long, Scott Caan, Nicky Katt, Ron Rifkin, and Ben Affleck, and John Waters' Hairspray (1988), starring Sonny Bono, Ruth Brown, Divine, Ricki Lake, Colleen Fitzpatrick, and Leslie Ann Powers. The two releases will be available for purchase on March 4th.

Exact technical specs and supplemental features to be included on these upcoming releases are yet to be revealed.

Boiler Room

Seth Davis (Ribisi) runs a small-time casino operation out of his apartment. With his streetwise business smarts, he's recruited to join the city's newest and hottest stock brokerage firm, an aggressive, renegade corporation far from the traditions of Wall Street. Trained by the company's top young turks, Chris (Diesel) and Greg (Katt), Seth takes quickly to his new job's instant riches and fast-life pleasure. He even gains new favor with his estranged father (Rifkin). When Seth wins the eye and the heart of Greg's ex-girlfriend Abbie (Long) it all seems too good to be true. But he's about to learn the devastating secret behind all this intoxicating success. Just as quickly as he was seduced into the firm, Seth finds himself caught in a trap that could bring himself, his father and his whole world crashing down.

Hairspray

Divine, Ricki Lake, Sonny Bono and Debbie Harry star in this musical comedy set in 1960s Baltimore from director John Waters. Overweight teenager Tracy Turnblad's (Lake) dreams come true when she becomes the newest star on a television dance program. She is soon the most popular dancer and finds herself the focus of some dirty tricks at the hands of rival Amber Von Tussle (Fitzpatrick) and her pushy parents but Tracy is more concerned with her campaign to have her black friends accepted on the all-white show.
