Janus Films has released the first official U.S. trailer for acclaimed Italian director Paolo Sorrentino's La grande bellezza a.k.a The Great Beauty (2013), starring Toni Servillo, Carlo Verdone, Sabrina Ferilli, and Pamela Villoresi. The distributor plans the have the film in U.S. theater this fall.
Earlier this year, The Great Beauty was selected to represent Italy in the Foreign Language category of the 86th Academy Awards.
Journalist Jep Gambardella has charmed and seduced his way through the lavish nightlife of Rome for decades.
