Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced the Blu-ray release of
Justice League: War, the next original DC Universe Animated Original Movie. Based on "The New 52" origin story from Geoff Johns and Jim Lee,
Justice League: War arrives on Blu-ray on February 4, 2014.
Synopsis: When Darkseid and his forces invade Earth, a group of super heroes discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a unit. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, "Justice League: Origin," by writer Geoff Johns and artist Jim Lee,
Justice League: War provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment's "The New 52."
