Sony BMG has announced that the John Mayer concert '
Where the Light Is' will be released for Blu-ray on July 1st. Recorded on December 8, 2007 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angelos, the concert features three sets: an acoustic performance, a rare "John Mayer Trio" performance, and one set with the full band.
Shot with eight Super 35 cameras, video will be presented in 1080p24 accompanied by both a stereo PCM and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack, both at highly accurate 96Hz/24-bit encoding.

This release will also be packed with Blu-ray exclusive BonusView and BD-Live features, including a picture-in-picture experience with Steve Jordan & Pino Palladino as well as the BD-Live downloadable "Belief" backstage performance. Other extras include a Mulholland Drive acoustic performance. This will be the first Sony BMG title to make use of BonusView and BD-Live features.
