Manuel Chiche, founder and director of French boutique label Wild Side, and founder of La Rabbia, a new distribution company which specializes in theatrical re-releases of restored classic films, has revealed that three classic films by Max Ophuls, Fritz Lang, and Orson Welles will return to French cinemas.
The three films are
Letter from an Unknown Woman (1948), starring Joan Fontaine, Louis Jourdan, and Mady Christians, Fritz Lang's
Secret Beyond the Door (1947), starring Joan Bennett, Michael Redgrave, and Anne Revere, and Orson Welles'
Macbeth (1948), starring Orson Welles, Jeanette Nolan, and Dan O'Herlihy.
Our friends from French site 1Kult have also informed us that the three films are being prepped for Blu-ray and DVD release by Carlotta Films.
