CINERAMA: Holiday

Never before issued on home video, Cinerama Holiday was the second of the original 3-panel Cinerama travelogues, and the #2 box office hit of 1955. This motion picture intercuts between the adventures of two real-life, married couples. First are Switzerland's Fred and Beatrice Troller, who begin their panoramic tour of America in Las Vegas, then wind their way around the US, stopping in San Francisco, New Orleans, New York City, and New England. Meanwhile, Betty and John Marsh of Kansas City board a flight to Switzerland, commencing an immersive European vacation full of bobsled rides and ski trips down the Swiss Alps, along with visits to the Paris Opera, the Louvre, and the Notre Dame Cathedral in France. Taking you on a journey of wonder and discovery, these two holidays come to life through the remarkable lens of Cinerama, now digitally remastered from the original camera negative and in its newly presented Smilebox Curved Screen Simulation.
