Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and VIZ Media have announced the Blu-ray release of
Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne, Set 2 (
Rinne no Raguranje), which features the second 12-episode installment of the Studio Xebec/Production I.G. anime from director Tatsuo Sato (
Ninja Scroll: The Series). The second volume of the mecha anime series arrives on Blu-ray on January 7, 2014.
Synopsis: Madoka is the lone member of her school's Jersey Club. She is one day recruited by a mysterious girl named Lan to pilot the robot Vox and protect her city from space invaders. They are joined by a third girl, Muginami, who has a different goal than Ran. Meanwhile, they still don't know their enemies' true goal, or what Rinne might be.
VIZ Media has yet to detail tech specs or special features. Episodes include:
