Bandai Visual Entertainment has announced that they have acquired the distribution rights to '
Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence' and will bring it to Blu-ray sometime this year. The film has been available on Blu-ray in Japan for some time (distributed there by Disney), and this will be the first time the title will be available outside Japan in high definition.
No specs have been announced at this time, but we do know that they are recording a brand new English dub for the release. English subtitles will also be available for those who wish to watch the film with its original audio track. No special features have been announced at this time.
