Universal Studios announced today that Duncan Jones' movie adaptation of the hit Blizzard Entertainment fantasy game World Of Warcraft will open in theaters across the United States on December 18th, 2015. Warcraft is the first film from Universal's partnership with Legendary Pictures to receive an official release date.
Charles Leavitt (Blood Diamond, K-Pax) and the British director wrote the script for Warcraft. The film will be produced by Charles Roven and Alex Gartner (Atlas Entertainment) and Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni (Legendary Pictures).
