French label Pathe Distribution has revealed that it is planning to bring to Blu-ray a number of classic films. Amongst them are Patrice Chereau's recently restored and screened at Cannes Classics

La Roue a.k.a
The Wheel (1922), Milos Forman's
Valmont (1989), Rene Clair's
Paris qui dort (1925), Raymond Bernard's
Les croix de bois a.k.a
Wooden Crosses (1932), Jean-Jacques Annaud's
L'ours a.k.a
The Bear (1988), and Marcel L'Herbier's
Le bohneur a.k.a
Happiness (1934).
Technical specs and supplemental features to be included on these upcoming releases are unknown at the moment, but Pathe has indicated that they are expected to arrive on the French market in 2014.
