Icon Film Distribution Resumes Operations in the UK

Icon Film Distribution has been acquired by investment group New Sparta and will begin operating on the UK again. Icon Home Entertainment will also be relaunched.
Icon Film Distribution ceased distribution operations in the UK in 2011 after it shifted focus solely to production.
The new deal gives IFD access to such upcoming films as Mike Disa's Postman Pat: The Movie - You Know You're the One (2013) and Will Canon's House of Horror (2014).
The new deal also covers Icon's UK library, which features such international hits as Drive, A Single Man, and Paranormal Activity.
