Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of producer Spike Lee and writer/director Malcolm D. Lee's
The Best Man, starring Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Monica Calhoun, Terrence Howard, Harold Perrineau and Nia Long. The 1999 romantic comedy arrives on November 5th, ten days before the film's upcoming sequel,
The Best Man Holiday, releases in theaters on November 15th.
Synopsis: Harper Stewart (Diggs) is a commitment-shy writer and the best man at the wedding of Lance (Chestnut) and Mia (Calhoun). Unfortunately for Harper, the timing couldn't be worse. His new book is coming out and it chronicles his college life with his friends in a less-than-perfect light. The wedding party reunites college buddies Quentin(Howard), Mirch (Perrineau) and love interest Jordan (Long). As the celebration weekend nears, scandalous secrets begin to reveal themselves...for better or for worse.
