Universal Studios Home Entertainment is releasing filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock's
Topaz (1969), starring Frederick Stafford, Dany Robin, Karin Dor, John Vernon, Claude Jade, Philippe Noiret and Michel Piccoli. Previously available as part of the
Alfred Hitchcock: Masterpiece Collection, the single-disc release of the espionage thriller arrives on Blu-ray on November 5th.
Synopsis: Based on the 1967 Leon Uris novel of the same name,
Topaz is a tale of global intrigue. John Forsythe plays a CIA agent who teams with a French spy (Stafford) to uncover Soviet activities in Cuba circa 1962. The film features a screenplay written by Samuel A. Taylor, cinematography by Jack Hildyard, and music by Maurice Jarre.
The Blu-ray edition of
