The organizers of the Toronto International Film Festival have released an English-friendly trailer for director Lee Sang-il's remake of Clint Eastwood's classic western Unforgiven (1992). Yurusarezaru mono stars Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai), Jun Kunimura (Ichi the Killer), and Kôichi Satô (Gonin).
Official synopsis: Ken Watanabe stars in director Lee Sang-il's visionary remake of Clint Eastwood's iconic Academy Award winner. Continuing a rich tradition of cross-cultural adaptations, Lee swaps six-shooters for samurai swords, transposing the classic western to Meiji-period Japan.
