Action star Vin Diesel is set to appear in Soldiers of the Sun, a new post-apocalyptic future film which will be distributed by Universal Studios. Diesel will also produce the film, together with Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Samantha Vincent.
Arash Amel is in charge with the script for the upcoming film. Amel also wrote the script for French director Olivier Dahan's latest film Grace of Monaco, starring Nicole Kidman, Tim Roth, and Frank Langella.
Soldiers of the Sun will follow a group of soldiers in Mexico as they battle an alien race while looking for a legendary lost city of gold.
