Amazon's Blu-ray Deal of the Week affects Universal Home Entertainment's Musical Three-Pack. Through August 17th, Amazon is offering the set for $34.99 (a 61% discount from its MSRP of $88.94).
This package compiles live versions of some of the stage's most iconic musicals, including:
Les Misérables follows the travails of paroled convict Jean Valjean as he struggles to redefine himself past his former criminal behavior, while The Phantom of the Opera centers on the lovestruck Phantom of the title, a man whose resentments threaten his ardor for struggling opera singer Christine. Love Never Dies offers a continuation of the Phantom's story; in this piece, he has escaped from the Paris Opera House and moved to Coney Island.
The three-disc bundle offers these filmed musicals alongside trailers and short behind-the-scenes featurettes.
