Eureka Entertainment to Release Markus Imhoof's More Than Honey

British distributors Eureka Entertainment will bring to Blu-ray Swiss director Markus Imhoof's award-winning documentary More Than Honey (2013). The release will be available for purchase online and in shops across the United Kingdom on October 21.

Documentary about the ever increasing crises facing honey bees and the resulting impact on our global agricultural system. Through innovative camerawork, director Markus Imhoof gives an insight into the daily workings of the bee hive and how bees are falling victim to numerous issues, leading to an overall decline in numbers. Traveling from North America through Europe and into China, we are shown how humans are beginning to introduce measures to alleviate the crisis but also how we may be partially to blame.

Earlier this year, More Than Honey won Best Documentary Award at the Bavarian Film Awards.

In 1981, Imhoof also directed the acclaimed war drama Our Boat is Full, which was nominated for Oscar Award for Best Foreign Language Film (Switzerland).
