Universal Studios has hired writer Anthony Peckham to work on a script for a new Bourne film. Actor Jeremy Renner, who played Aaron Cross in Tony Gilroy's
The Bourne Legacy (2012), is apparently also set to return. Currently, it is unknown whether Edward Norton and Rachel Weisz will join the new project.
Peckham wrote the scripts for Clint Eastwood's drama
Invictus (2009) and Guy Ritchie's adventure film
Sherlock Holmes (2009).
