Sony Pictures announced today that Inferno, the third film adaptation in the Dan Brown series, will be released in the United States on December 18th, 2015. Ron Howard will direct this upcoming film. Actor Tom Hanks will also return as Prof. Robert Langdon.
Dan Brown's novel was published earlier this summer.
