Independent British distributors Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment have officially announced that they will release on Blu-ray special effects guru Paul Hyett's (The Descent, Eden Lake) directorial debut The Seasoning House (2012), starring Rosie Day, Sean Pertwee, and Kevin Howarth. The release will arrive on the UK market on August 12th.
Angel (Day) is being held captive in 'The Seasoning House', an Eastern European brothel which imprisons young girls until they are released to the military for sexual gratification. Lately, Angel has managed to avoid any abuse by becoming an assistant to house owner Viktor (Kevin Howarth), and is responsible for taking care of the other girls after their experiences. When she befriends a new arrival and finds out that the people responsible for her own abduction will be returning, Angel begins planning her revenge...
