NIS America has announced the Premium Edition Blu-ray release of Brave 10, the twelve-episode of the 2012 Studio Sakimakura and TMS Entertainment anime series based on the Kairi Shimotsuki manga of the same name. The 2-disc set includes a hardcover art book, and arrives on Blu-ray on October 8th.
Synopsis: Life is tough during the Warring States period of medieval Japan: lords battle lords for control of the country, while samurai and mystical warriors do their bidding from the shadows. Backstabbing and betrayal are common, and legendary ninja Saizo Kirigakure has had enough. He lives only for himself - until a girl with a mysterious dark power falls into his arms.
Saizo quickly finds himself dragged into a struggle between powerful warlord Ieyasu Tokugawa, and the strange but alluring Yukimura Sanada. He becomes one of "Sanada's Ten Braves," who use their mystical powers and ninja abilities to protect the people and things they care about the most.
The Blu-ray release of Brave 10 features episodes 1-12 plus a 32-page hardcover art book with an episode guide, character and world descriptions, production and key art, and more. Tech specs have yet to be detailed, but Japanese audio and English subtitles have been confirmed. Extras include:
