As part of its 2012 distribution deal with Paramount, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release director Mike Mitchell's
Surviving Christmas on Blu-ray later this year. The 2004 DreamWorks holiday comedy stars Ben Affleck, James Gandolfini, Christina Applegate and Catherine O'Hara, and arrives on Blu-ray on November 5th.
Synopsis: Drew Latham (Affleck) doesn't want to spend another lonely Christmas. Longing for holidays past, he travels to his childhood home only to find that his family no longer lives there. Instead of continuing his search, Drew offers the Valco patriarch Tom (Gandolfini) and his wife Christine (O'Hara) $250,000 if they agree to pretend to be his parents. What's more, he wants them to treat him as if he's a cherished member of the family. As the Valcos reluctantly agree to Drew's every request, Alicia (Applegate), their eldest daughter, arrives home and refuses to comply with her irritating new brother's wishes.
