Texas-based distributors Well Go USA have revealed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray veteran Hong Kong director Johnnie To's Drug War (2012), starring Louis Koo, Sun Honglei, Crystal Huang, Gordon Lam, Suet Lam, and Eddie Cheung. The preliminary release date set by the distributors is October 15th.
Captain Zhang (Sun Honglei) and his team will stop at nothing to track down drug criminals. When drug lord Timmy Choi (Louis Koo) is captured, a deal to help Zhang bust a major cocaine ring could save him from the death penalty. But Captain Zhang doesn't trust Timmy Choi is truly betraying his partners. He becomes more and more suspicious as steps are taken to raid the ironclad drug factory...
Note: Drug War will be screened at the IFC Center on July 26th, and then will head to Los Angeles where it will open in select theaters on August 2.
