British distributors Eureka Entertainment have revealed that they are planning to add six releases to their Blu-ray catalog between August and September. Amongst them are Douglas Sirk's
A Time to Love and a Time to Die and
The Tarnished Angels, Federico Fellini's
Il Bidone, and Maurice Pialat's
Van Gogh.

La Notte
One of the masterworks of 1960s cinema,
La Notte (The Night) marked yet another development in the continuous stylistic evolution of its director, Michelangelo Antonioni — even as it solidified his reputation as one of the greatest artists of the 20th century.
La Notte is Antonioni's "Twilight of the Gods", but composed in cinematic terms. Examined from a crane-shot, it's a sprawling study of Italy's upper middle-class; seen in close-up, it's an x-ray of modern man's psychic desolation. Starring Marcello Mastroianni, Jeanne Moreau, and Monica Vitti.

Brady Corbet plays Simon, a recent college graduate full of promise and potential, who goes to Paris to begin a trip around Europe after a bad break-up with his long-time girlfriend. Although he's leaving behind a bad memory, he can't manage to shake off his feelings of loss. Like many young people living overseas and away from home for the first time, he's both an adventurer and an outsider in a very strange land. The Tarnished Angels
Classic drama directed by Douglas Sirk and based on the novel 'Pylon' by William Faulker. Set in the 1930s, the film focuses on Roger Shumann (Robert Stack), an embittered former World War I flying ace who is now making a modest living as a pilot and parachutist. When New Orleans journalist Burke Devlin (Rock Hudson) encounters Stack at a carnival, he becomes intrigued by the pilot's fall from grace. As he is drawn into Stack's individualistic lifestyle, he also finds himself drawn towards Stack's long-suffering wife, LaVerne Shumann (Dorothy Malone). Coming in August.
A Time to Love and a Time to Die
Douglas Sirk directs this wartime romance set against the backdrop of a German soldier returning home on leave. After being worn down by the ravages of duty on the Russian front, Private Ernst Graeber (John Gavin) finally receives his long-awaited leave and returns home to Germany. After discovering his home bombed, Ernst, trying to find his parents, meets and falls in love with Elizabeth Kruze (Lilo Pulver). Attempting to set up house together, they discover that Elizabeth is pregnant. However, the couple's new found happiness is shattered when Ernst is recalled to the front. Coming in September.
Il Bidone
Classic drama directed by Federico Fellini. A trio of crooks and con men, Augusto (Broderick Crawford), Picasso (Richard Basehart) and Roberto (Franco Fabrizi), make a living from playing elaborate tricks on the poor and the credulous. Their hard-hearted lifestyle is challenged however, when Augusto is unexpectedly reunited with his estranged daughter, and when Picasso is faced with his loving wife's impatience. Coming in September.
Van Gogh
French drama about the last months in the life of the artist Van Gogh, directed by Maurice Pialat and starring Jacques Dutronc in the title role. Between May and July 1890, Van Gogh establishes himself in the village of Auvers following his year-long stay in an asylum after his mental breakdown. Forming a supportive relationship with his doctor, Gachet (Gérard Séty), Van Gogh enters into a final burst of creative energy, completing a new canvas every day, and immerses himself in the pastoral, bohemian life of the village.
