Warner Home Video has announced that they will release the Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman comedy '
The Bucket List' for Blu-ray on June 10th, day-and-date with the DVD release. Specs have not been announced at this time, but you can expect the usual VC-1 video and Dolby Digital audio support.
Extras includes the featurette "Writing the Bucket List" and a John Mayer music video. Exclusive to the Blu-ray release will be interviews with the stars of 'The Bucket List' with Rob Reiner, interactive trivia feature (with fun facts about actors Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, along with the making of 'The Bucket List'), and a making of featurette on the John Mayer music video.
This film was a hit in the box office, pulling in over $90M in ticket sales. It will be interesting to see how well this type of film plays in the general Blu-ray demographic.
