LD Entertainment is planning a remake of acclaimed director Adrian Lyne's cult thriller Jacob's Ladder (1990). Jeff Buhler, who wrote the script for Ryûhei Kitamura's The Midnight Meat Train, has been asked to work on a script for the remake.
The upcoming remake will be produced by Michael Gaeta (Transit) and Alison Rosenzweig (Windtalkers, Fright Night).
The original film stars Tim Robbins, Elizabeth Peña, Danny Aiello, Matt Craven, Patricia Kalember, Jason Alexander, and Ving Rhames. It is already out on Blu-ray in the United States and the United Kingdom. You can see our listings and reviews of these releases here and here.
