FUNimation is in the process of preparing additional Blu-ray releases of Dragon Ball Z, complete with newly remastered video presentations. Before proceeding, though, the anime distributor is asking for fan and consumer input via an online survey. Currently, there are 21 Dragon Ball Z releases available on Blu-ray.
Survey questions cover a number of topics: preferred Dragon Ball series, favorite Sagas, 4:3 Original vs. 16:9 Cropped aspect ratios, and more. The official FUNimation message reads as follows: "FUNimation is looking into releasing Dragon Ball Z on Blu-ray at an affordable price with a brand new remaster using new technology to make the show look brighter and crisper. Before we make this decision, we need your input. Please take a few minutes to answer a few questions. Your feedback is valuable to us."
