As part of its 2012 distribution deal with Paramount, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is bringing
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life to Blu-ray. Based on the hit videogame series, director Jan de Bont's 2003 sequel to the 2001 feature film adaptation arrives on Blu-ray on October 8th.
Synopsis: Hidden deep in the heart of Africa is an area known as "The Cradle Of Life," where Pandora's Box is said to house the most unspeakable evil ever known. And it's up to Lara Croft (Jolie) to find the infamous box before it falls into the hands of a maniacal Nobel Prize-winning scientist (Ciarán Hinds), who's intent on harnessing its power. Facing her greatest challenges yet, the intrepid tomb raider travels the world on a spectacular adventure that takes her to such exotic places as Hong Kong, Kenya, Tanzania, Greece and the Great Wall of China.
Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life also stars Gerard Butler, Chris Barrie, Djimon Hounsou and Noah Taylor.
