Action superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that he will be back to play the Terminator in the fifth installment of the science fiction series. The former governor of California, who will turn 66 this July, made the announcement in Australia at the 21st Century Financial Education Summit.
Early reports indicate that shooting of Terminator 5 will begin in January 2014. Further details about the script of this upcoming film or the rest of cast are yet to be revealed.
In addition to the new Terminator film, Schwarzenegger has also committed to sequels for the '80s hits Conan and Twins. The current titles for these upcoming films are The Legend of Conan (2014) and Triplets.
