Open Road Films and Endgame Releasing have acquired the U.S. distribution rights to Gary Fleder's action thriller Homefront (2013). Inspired by Chuck Logan's novel and based on a script by Sylvester Stallone, Homefront stars Jason Statham, Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth, and James Franco. The film is set to arrive in theaters across the United States on October 4th
Official synopsis: Homefront is an action movie about a widowed ex-DEA agent who retires to a small town for the sake of his 10-year-old daughter. The only problem is he picked the wrong town.
The film is produced by Sylvester Stallone, Kevin King Templeton and John Thompson. It is executive produced by Boaz Davidson, Avi Lerner, Danny Lerner. and Trevor Short.
