The UK branch of Universal Studios will release on Blu-ray the famous musical
Cats (1998), starring Sir John Mills, Ken Page, Elaine Paige, James Barron, and Jo Bingham. Newly remastered,
Cats will be available for purchase on September 2.
Official synopsis: Based on "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" by T.S. Eliot. The first ever film of an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical taken straight from the stage - at the New London Theatre on Drury Lane. The longest running musical on the West End, this production features Elaine Paige and Sir John Mills in its cast.
