Entertainment One has acquired the distribution rights to director Nimrod Antal's (Kontroll) highly anticipated 3D film Metallica Through the Never. Entertainment One will distribute the film in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
Metallica Through the Never is produced by Charlotte Huggins (Journey to the Center of the Earth).
Official synopsis: Metallica Through The Never is a 3D feature film starring members of the iconic rock band and Dane DeHaan (Chronicle, The Amazing Spider-Man 2). DeHaan plays a young band crew member who is sent out on an urgent mission while the band is playing a rousing live set in front of a sold-out crowd and unexpectedly finds his world turned completely upside down.
Note: IMAX Corporation and Picturehouse are digitally remastering the film into the IMAX 3D format and will release it wide in North America exclusively in IMAX theatres for a one-week run starting Friday Sept 27th. The film will then be expanded into more theaters on October 4th.
