Relativity Media and EuropaCorp have released the first trailer for French director Luc Besson's (The Fifth Element, Léon: The Professional) latest project, Malavita a.k.a The Family (2013), starring Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Tommy Lee Jones, and Vincent Pastore. The film is set to open in theaters across the United States on September 20th.
Malavita is based on the novel by Tonino Benacquista and is executive produced by Martin Scorsese.
The film tells the story of an ex-mafia boss who is relocated to France's Normandy as part of the U.S. witness protection program after he testifies against his former friends and colleagues.
