British distributors Artificial Eye have informed us that they have acquired the UK distribution rights to this year's Palme d'Or winner La vie d'Adèle a.k.a Blue is the Warmest Color, starring Adèle Exarchopoulos, Léa Seydoux, and Jeremie Laheurte. The film is directed by Franco-Tunisian helmer Abdellatif Kechiche.
Theatrical and Blu-ray release dates are yet to be revealed.
The British distributors have also acquired the distribution rights to Italian director Paolo Sorrentino's The Great Beauty, Ritesh Batra's The Lunchbox and the UK drama Lilting.
