Abdellatif Kechiche’s Blue is the Warmest Color Wins the Palme d'Or

Franco-Tunisian dierctor Abdellatif Kechiche's latest film, La vie d'Adèle a.k.a Blue is the Warmest Color, won the prestigious Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival late last night. The jury also presented the award to the film's two stars: Adele Exarchopoulos and Lea Seydoux.

The Coen brothers' Inside Llewyn Davis won the Grand Prix Award, the festival's second most prestigious award.

The Jury Prize went to Japanese director Hirokazu Koreeda's drama Like Father, Like Son.
