First Look Studios has announced that they will release the John Cusack comedy '
War, Inc.' for Blu-ray on July 1st, day-and-date with the DVD release. No technical specs have been announced at this time, but previous Blu-ray release were encoded using VC-1 and featured a Dolby Digital audio track. Special features have yet to be announced as well.
The film stars John Cusack as a hitman who goes undercover to organize a fake wedding between a local politician and a famous pop music star. The film also features Joan Cusack, Marisa Tomei, and Hillary Duff.
First Look Studios initially supported both the high definition formats, but now that Blu-ray has been declared the victor, they will only support Blu-ray from now on.
