Independent British distributors Second Sight Films have announced that they will release on Blu-ray director George A. Romero's
Creepshow (1982), starring Hal Holbrook, Adrienne Barbeau, and Leslie Nielsen. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Based on a screenplay by Stephen King and featuring a soundtrack by John Harrison. A tribute to the D.C. comics of the 1950s, this film is split into five horror stories, linked by a sub-story about a young boy reading the tales in a comic book. Hal Holbrook, Adrienne Barbeau, E.G. Marshall and Leslie Nielsen all make appearances, as does 'Creepshow' writer Stephen King, who plays a man attacked by a weird plant.
