Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new action-packed trailer, dubbed "Fate of Your Planet", for director Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, the Christopher Nolan-produced reboot of the Superman film franchise starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Kal-El, Michael Shannon as villainous Kryptonian General Zod, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Laurence Fishburne as Daily Planet editor Perry White, and Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as Jonathan and Martha Kent. The film is set to arrive in U.S. theaters on June 14th.
Official Synopsis: In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is perhaps the most recognized and revered character of all time. In Snyder's Man of Steel, Clark Kent is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone's imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question: why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents, Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer?
