BBC Brings Wild China to Blu-ray

The BBC has announced that they will bring the documentary 'Wild China' to Blu-ray on July 1st, day-and-date with the DVD release. The two-disc set will include all six 50min episodes, including "The Great Ricebowl", "The Forests of Shangri La", "Tibet", "Beyond the Great Wall", "Land of the Dragon" and "Crowded Coasts". Also included will be the making-of featurette "Hunting Dragon."
No technical specs have been announced at this time, but being that the BBC uses Warner Brothers for their distribution, expect the series, shot in high definition, to be presented using 1080p VC-1 video encoding.
