Madonna has confirmed in an exclusive interview with "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli that a Blu-ray with footage from her MDNA tour will be out in September. Exact technical specs and possible supplemental features to be included with this upcoming release, however, are yet to be revealed.
Madonna's MDNA tour - an EPIX Original Concert Event which was filmed primarily in Miami - will have its premiere on EPIX on June 22 at 8:00 pm ET.
The MDNA Tour was the most successful and highest grossing tour of 2012. It was seen by over 2.2 million fans of the legendary artist during the course of 88 sold-out shows around the globe.
