Walt Disney Pictures has released a new trailer for producer John Lasseter and director Klay Hall's Cars spin-off Planes, this one a montage of animation from the film set to music by composer Mark Mancina. The high-flying computer animated adventure features the voice talents of Dane Cook, Val Kilmer, Anthony Edwards, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and John Cleese, and is set to arrive in U.S. theaters on August 9th.
Synopsis: From above the world of Cars comes Disney's Planes, an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty (Cook), a crop duster with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty's not exactly built for racing, and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps him qualify to take the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty's courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar. Planes also features the voice talents of Teri Hatcher, Cedric the Entertainer, Stacy Keach, Brad Garrett, Sinbad and Gabriel Iglesias.
