In March, BBC Home Entertainment announced that the 2012
Doctor Who Christmas Special, "The Snowmen," would be included with the Blu-ray edition of
Doctor Who: Series Seven, Part Two. However, today the studio revealed that the 2012 Christmas Special will only be available
separately and will not be a part of the
Series Seven, Part Two release.
There's still no official word from BBC as to whether "The Snowmen" will find its way onto
The Complete Seventh Series set, which is currently available for pre-order and expected to arrive later this year. Those who already own
Series Seven, Part One and pre-ordered
Series Seven, Part Two will need to also purchase
Doctor Who: The Snowmen to complete their collection.
