Fox Home Entertainment has revealed the the specs and special features that will be included with the upcoming Blu-ray release of '
Patton', due to hit store shelves on June 3rd. Video will be presented in 1080p AVC and be accompanied by a DTS-HD Master Audio lossless soundtrack. In order to provide all extra content on this release, Fox will be issuing this title as a two disc set.
The first disc, which will come on a BD-50, will feature the main title as well as an introduction and full length commentary by screenwriter Francis Ford Coppola.
The second, a BD-25, will include the remainder of the bonus material, including the documentary "The Making of Patton", two featurettes "History Through the Lens: Patton: A Rebel Revisited" and "Patton's Ghost Corps", a production still gallery (accompanied by the complete musical score), a behind-the-scenes gallery (accompanied by an audio essay), and the original theatrical trailer.
'Patton' will be released along side '
The Longest Day' and '
Sand Pebbles' as part of a Father's Day promotion by Fox.
