Independent British distributors New Wave Films have confirmed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray acclaimed Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami's latest film Like Someone in Love (2012), starring Tadashi Okuno, Rin Takanashi, and Ryo Kase. A preliminary release date, however, is yet to be revealed.
Like Someone in Love will open theatrically in the United Kingdom on Jun 21.
An old man and a young woman meet in Tokyo. She knows nothing about him, he thinks he knows her. He welcomes her into his home, she offers him her body. But the web that is woven between them in the space of twenty-four hours bears no relation to the circumstances of their encounter.
