Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment, the National Football League and NFL Films have announced the 2-disc Blu-ray Collector's Edition release of
Baltimore Ravens: Road to XLVII, which features the original network broadcasts of all four postseason games, including Super Bowl XLVII and Baltimore's win over the San Francisco 49ers. The set arrives on Blu-ray on June 4th.
The Baltimore Ravens' 2012 season was filled with highs and lows, but ended with Joe Flacco and company sending teammate Ray Lewis out with a second World Championship. Baltimore overcame injuries and losses in four of their last five regular season games before defeating Indianapolis, Denver, and New England, and capturing the Lombardi Trophy in an unforgettable 34-31 Super Bowl win over San Francisco. When the Ravens reached the postseason, they looked like a completely different team, and were led by Flacco, who played the best football of his career. His performance in Super Bowl XLVII earned him the MVP award.
With
Road to XLVII, fans can relive the Ravens' remarkable championship run with the original network broadcasts of all four playoff victories. Watch Ray Lewis, Jacoby Jones, Ray Rice and others as they handle rookie sensation Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts during Wild Card weekend, in Lewis' last home game at M&T Bank Stadium. Or the unforgettable overtime win over the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning in the Divisional Round, followed by the team exacting revenge on the New England Patriots to win the AFC Championship. This set the stage for the "Harbaugh Bowl," where Ravens coach John Harbaugh beat his brother Jim and the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl XLVII.
"The Baltimore Ravens made one of the most exciting playoff runs in NFL history, culminating with their unforgettable triumph in Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans. There is no better way for the Charm City fans to relieve the magic than with the
