Pathe Distribution has revealed that it plans to bring to Blu-ray director Christian Duguay's (Screamers, The Art of War) latest film Jappeloup (2013), starring Guillaume Canet, Marina Hands, Daniel Auteuil, Tchéky Karyo, and Donald Sutherland. The preliminary release date set by the studio is July 17th.
In addition to the standard Blu-ray release, Pathe will also offer a Limited Edition Prestige Box Set (BD/2DVD).
Loosely based on the life and sporting career of Pierre Durand and his horse Jappeloup. Horse jockey Pierre Durand nurses a small horse named Jappeloup back from a serious injury to a gold-medal victory in show jumping at the 1998 Olympics in Seoul, Korea.
