DreamWorks Animation has revealed that it plans to produce a sequel to its latest hit The Croods, which features the voices of Nicholas Cage, Ryan Reynolds and Emma Stone. The film has already made $386M at the worldwide box office.
A formal announcement confirming that a sequel has been greenlit is expected to be made at CinemaCon.
The Croods is a prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world's first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed.
